Title: TSBs (Tech Service Bulletins)
Post by: Shambles on September 22, 2009, 21:52:52
Sorry chaps,

These bulletins are now removed from the permalink as we have received a takedown notice..

Shame, as I personally thought they helped a few members out (myself included) but the law is the law.

Just to say visibility of the relatively few, and uncomplex TSB's was one  of the factors that helped me decide on buying the i30 rather than buying the Ford like everyone else. Where I live I suspect there is 1000+ Focus to each i30.

I can understand the commercial sensitivities though. I guess it just means I will have to go moan at the dealer about every little thing now

Dealers must have complained...

Can't have victims, I mean  customers, knowing as much as them huh !

I'm interested to know what these are? And are they still available somewhere?

Hi Ian.. I don't think I've welcomed you to the club ... From my number of posts you can see I have been quite active but not so much lately...

They are bulletins released by Hyundai for the dealers information and in some cases actioning...

We managed to get access to them (or one of our members did anyway) but now they have said they are only for dealer access..

(Very sad)  :'(

Right, I get you. Useful information really! Shame that they wish you to remove it. Maybe someone should send a nice letter encouraging them of the advantages of posting it :)

Don't worry about the welcoming, I've not posted all that much. Have just been browsing around to learn about the i30 before I got collect my 2nd hand estate. Looking forward to it!

Wonder what they are worried about?

Can't have informed consumers, now, can we!

It's all legal stuff but has been sorted out now. Sadly.
