Title: Hyundai Accessories US Store
Post by: snowcherry on September 24, 2009, 03:30:36
while trying to find some cheap mud flaps online i had a peek at the US site (the elantra touring)

some decent prices with the flaps under $17 pair US and for those interested the ipod cables a measly $34US. presuming our dollar is good this would be a great way to grab some cheap i30 items.

i did not however expect the shipping porices to be astronomical! i'm unsure why they are so high, and even putting a few items togethor to save on postage prices just kept pushing the postage up and up. doesn't apear to be based on weight at all.  shame :(

edit: link helps apparently http://www.hyundaiaccessorystore.com/Hyundai_Elantra_Touring_Accessories.html

Aye, it is a shame, I'd seen that and discounted using them because of the shipping.

Snowcherry, i think our dollar is about 25% less but as we now have free trade agreement no duty, i've always had good luck buying from USA.

i30 stuff? i buy a few things from the US myself and its a great option, but never car accessories before. i'll keep my eye out for a third party site that has cheap postage. only other option is someone nicely offers to buy stuff and then send them on but thats always an issue in itself.

the B&M shifter looks interesting, just would probably be made with left hand drive in mind, normally B&M are an auto trans parts company.
