hi :welcome:
I bought a 2008 CRDi manual new, at that time they did not offer Cruice control from factory in Australia. but the dealer told me they could have an aftermarket on fitted, so i went with that & it worked great as i did a lot of long trips at that time. but can't help with fitting one.

Welcome,
Plenty of info about people who have had it added to FD Diesel i30's ... Here are a few of the threads I found by doing a targeted search like this...
"Cruise Control" in advanced search of just Modifications section.
This one has some good links...

Yes, plenty of people, but no one with manufacturing year 2008. I have read many topics, only found aftermarket kits, but i'd rater have an genuine one.
But anyway, thanks! :goodjob2:

I think the first one that Hyundai used was manufactured by Dangar or some name like that in Denmark? But you need to be aware of the pitfalls of it not being installed correctly (all documented in Alan's thread from memory. As with all brands of vehicle not everything is made in house. For example the diesel's turbo is made by Garrett and the brakes by Bosch I think.
