Dad bought a car last weekend.
It was a vehicle his father owned and they had a pretty bad accident in which ended wiith a rollover. To say he's pretty chuffed is an understatement lol.
Pretty funny because he did did it on the sly using my brothers girlfriends birthday as cover for going to pick it up. But i was talking to mum on Wednesday and she was telling me a lady in Sydney ran up the back of them, but she hit the car trailer. It was then i knew something was going on haha.
It is Australian designed and built and i know a few of you will pick it, but i'll put a picture up and see who can tell what it is. Picture is of actual car i took from for sale ad.

The twin square headlights have got me stumped :head_knock:

Austin Tasman ?
-
I don't know what it is but, i would say it's from the 70's or late 60's, at would be build by Layland , they had a factory at Zeatland in Sydney. just looks like one of there designs, p76 was another one.
As for the lady running up rear of trailer in Sydney, would be on a phone or have a car load of kids.

Looks like an 6cyl Austin Kimberly Mark 2 to me!

Leyland Kimberley.
I know someone who loves Tasmans & Kimberleys.

I reckon it's a 1972 model Austin Kimberley X6 MK II..... :)
-
Yes, they were badged Austin but Leyland-designed as an all Aussie car (not U.K.) but a few made it across the ditch to NZ too.
The six cylinder engine in them is basically the same unit as in the six cylinder P76 (2.6 litre in P76). I've got one at the moment, a 4 speed manual model.
