GOT PROBLEMS OR ISSUES? => GENERAL => Topic started by: Dave on June 30, 2008, 14:24:35

After a few kilometers in my i30, I feel a deinite longitudinal ridge in the centre of the seat. Ii necessitates locating my crack directly over this, otherwise it is most uncomfotable on my cheeky bottom. Seems it may be support strapping for the seat, which also is a bit too hard. So bottoms up from time to time. Am I alone in this finding?

I don't have that problem mate. If I felt a ridge I'd have it seen to as it sounds rather.. uncomfortable to say the least.
My only problem in respect of the seat is my right leg gets tired due to me having shortarse legs

My seating is OK.
I do have a springy square under the fabric on the seat but I think this is to do with the safety features.
I have lumber support and find this ok.

Yeah, no issues with any of the seats. (Even after a solid 12 hour trip)
I would take it back to the dealer and have them fix it.

my wide load would have noticed, and the seat is fine with me! Another inch or 2 of rearward travel, though on the other hand......

Comfortable driver's seat was one of the reasons I got the i30 - having nearly gone into total muscular spasm while test driving a Nissan Qashqai - God those seats are bad bad bad

Also the same reason why i traded the Getz for the i30. I found the seats in the Getz really uncomfortable after a couple of hours.
The i30 is heaven compared to the Getz.
