The German magazine AutoBild often perform the 100,000 km test of various cars. Here's the verdict of the i30:
"With a score of "one" is the Koreans the best long-term test car we have investigated so far. Strong, is not it?"
Yeah, I know. It's in German :P
In short, the only fault during the 100,000 km was a blown bulb at the number plate.
They did of course mention the not-so-good feeling in the steering and the road noise....

I find the road noise very bad in my 2015 SR. Appreciate we have probably the worst roads in the world but my Nexens leave for dead anything else I've driven on including the dreadful Dunlop Sports Maxx.
