Title: MP3 folders?
Post by: PUFC Guy on October 04, 2009, 12:37:21
Hi everyone, just finishing off my USB drive ready for delivery of car, all my files are mp3 do I need to extract them from their album folders so I just have a long list of mp3's? If so its going to take ages naming 8 gig of files so I know what's playing! i.e not just -  track 1.mp3

Howdy doo :)

I have lots of folders each containing files that are named after the track. The folders are named after the artist & album. However, if your tracks are track1.mp3 etc then that's how they'll show up in the display, unless you got an upgraded firmware in the player (ie, better than mine)

Thanks for that and I'm so glad I wont have to rename. Does the player show the folder your in and the track or just the track?

The only issue i have is that wen they are in folders, random only randomise the folder and can not randomise the whole USB. (If you know what im trying to say.)

if you want to randomize the whole usb, press and hold 'random' until you hear a BEEP. it will then randomize the whole usb
