Much better looking than the Ka that was released in Australia some years ago. Still, I wouldn't buy one.

Quite cute. But too small for us.
My brother Steve who is no longer with us had a Ford Ka (the old funny shape) and 2 x Smart crs at different times... He was over 6 feet tall but liked small cars for some reason...

Agreed! That Ka was one ugly mother... :sicky:

Yeah that original Ka was bloody ugly, as is that Fiesta :sicky: no wonder their getting rid of it.
The new Ka+ looks quite nice on the outside though I definitely wouldn't buy a car made in India, their quality is similar to the junk cars ( Great Wall ) made in China :fum:

Hyundai have a plant in India building the i10 for Europe. My wife had an Indian manufactured i10. It was a very well built car and gave her no problems in 3 years of ownership.
The Indian car manufacturers have made great strides over the past 10 years - especially with quality control. I have no doubt that Ford will do OK there.

Europe can keep buying them then, their cars are as welcome here as their phone marketers :D

We've always said Ford had produced a Ka car. :whistler:

Is that why the American Australian car makers are in free fall - I know of only Dazz propping them up. :snigger:

I think Rick has a Holden as well, same model as my parents :) Unfortunately to produces cars here is just to expensive, with the import duties tax being reduced we can get Euro made cars for what it cost to buy our own and all our small Holdens and Fords are Euro made anyway.
I'd have no problem with owning a Holden Calais like Dazz, beautiful car and quality right through which is something you wont get with Indian and Chinese vehicles with their recycled plastics and shoddy suspension components.
