G'day everyone,
I'm a new i30 owner. A 2011 i30cw crdi 1.6 manual. The fuel efficiently is incredible! It was hard to find a manual, so unfortunately I has to settle for a model with no factory fog lights...
I have seen fog lights online for a reasonable price, but I haven't seen any complete kits with relays/switches/wiring etc as I've bought for other cars. I wondered if by chance all the i30cw's came wired for fog lights, but just not fitted unless optioned? If so, has anyone fitted aftermarket lights to an i30cw at all? If the loom is wired for them I presume perhaps I'll need to find a way to wire the switch in and buy a relay etc?
If anyone has any insight/information I'd love the heads up!
Cheers all,
Tk

:welcum: Great combo. Not 100% sure, but dont think the wiring will be there. Hopefully someone will know.

I used to have a 2009 FD diesel manual but it was an SLX so already had the fog lights.
I don't know either but I'm betting someone will.

That's an unusual handle too, Queestce. You're not on Bladeslapper too, are you?

:welcome:
@FatBoy Maybe chopper related but perhaps just "Who is it" in French. :winker:

It's a helicopter forum, mainly used by people that have either just started or completed their basic training. Sometimes referred to as "Robbie Slapper" as in the Robinson R22 basic training helicopter.

I had the i30cw with the foglights and after playing with them, didn't use them in the 5 years, 136,000k I owned it.
I would recommend getting a led barlight and a numberplate frame to attach it to the car.
Would be much cheaper than the dealers, and I don't know what they would cost from the wreckers. They are activated from the stalk on under the headlights too, so more expense/effort.
