Title: Now with 2 Hyundai's
Post by: Asterix on October 25, 2016, 18:31:26
The Wife's 20 y/o Corolla failed the MOT and is now on it's way to the scrapyard. We wanted to replace the Corolla with a 2005+ small car as most of the driving is just her driving for work.

Found a 2007 Getz at a Hy dealer and it looked ok. Went inside to talk to the sales rep and while waiting, found a new i10 in the showroom. As I've complained about not wanting to repair old cars outside (we only have an open carport) anymore, we did a quick calculation. Instead of buying an old car that would last 4-6 years and then set money aside every month for the next old car, we decided for a brand new i10 5 door in a special edition called Passion. It includes Climate control, Cruise control, 4 power windows, electric adjustable and heated mirrors. It's not a rocket with a 1,0 66 HP, but....

Happy Wife, happy life....

At least long warranty to reduce repair stress syndrome

I had an i10 loaner a couple of weeks ago ... on the motorway it felt like I was riding on the back of a wasp. Horrible car.

Much lower spec than yours though :goodjob:

My wife had an i10 for 3 years and I loved driving it around town. It was a great car and very refined for a small one.
