Central locking wouldn't work, but door opened with key manually. Car then wouldn't start and was showing hazard lights flashing on dash but not the actual lights themselves.
Anyone got any ideas what the problem could be>

Try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes (or is it 30?).
That should reset your smart box. It sounds to me like it got into a confused state to do with the car being opened without the immobiliser resetting.
In other words, the kind of stubbornness that won't allow a thief to steal it.

Don't take too much notice of Gonz, he's only a high ranking officer with the Australian Air force and a skilled engineer...
It's 30 minutes and it's called a BCM (Body Control Module) :goodjob:

Can you confirm your battery is in good state of charge?
What was it doing in relation to no start?
