I had four new tyres fitted to Jean yesterday, at 198,000 kms.
Kumhos.
Including wheel alignment they quoted $440 but ended up doing it for $400. :D

Excellent (so would that be her 3rd new pair? :undecided:

Nice :happydance:

Good price Dave :goodjob: how's she feel on the road with em?

Let us know if they're quiet Dave :goodjob2:

Good on the road and a hell of a lot quieter than the old, worn tyres.
Still no Jaguar but certainly acceptable. It's driving like a new one.
One thing I have noticed though, and I don't know whether I should go back to them, is that the person who did the wheel alignment has done them as a 2007-2012 FD, whereas it should have been a 2012 onwards GD.
Would these be different specs and likely to cause any problems? :undecided:

I'll tag Trevor Dave... @Surferdude

Already seen it Dazz.
Been trying to find some figures.
Haven't yet, but I seem to recall they're slightly different. I'd go back and ask them to check. They should be able to access their machine's recommended settings for each without having to hook the car back up.

Thanks Trevor :goodjob:
