Title: Sat Nav stopped working
Post by: edmagman on December 12, 2016, 22:22:42
Has anyone had experience with a faulty sat nav? I was told today by the dealer it is only covered by a 3 year warranty.

That is pretty normal for Radio related stuff (Third party supplier)

What seems to be the issue with it?

Sorry Dazzler, got busy with work.
Like a lot of other posts I have read, I couldn't get passed the agree button.
I had the car into the dealers to replace the two back windows, (wagon), because of the chrome strips coming out, and they looked at the Sat Nav for me.  the maps had disappeared, when they did an upgrade and installed the maps it fixed it.

The dealer was very helpful and even paid to replace the tint that was on the windows, (aftermarket).

So all in all a good outcome.

No worries Ed,

Thanks for the update. Good service. Feel free to name the Dealer (sounds like they deserve a plug!)  :goodjob:
