my i30 embossed mats are allready falling apart.the drivers mat has a plastic heel pad in it that's coming un stitched.they look new still because i vacuum my car every 2 to 3 weeks.the mats i got thrown in by the dealer and are about $100 odd to replace. not impressed at all. anyone got the same problem
-
Yeah I bought mine for 60 bucks or so via ebay and that happened to mine too (I thought maybe they were 2nds that's why I got them cheap) I stuck the plastic heal pad on better with contact adhesive (it's fine now)
-
i might give that a go dazz.i thought they might last longer than they have being an original Hyundai mat.
-
Take 'em back and complain!
-
wow 6 months isn't good! shouldn't they last years besides fair wear and usage?
i'd complain myself.
-
Yep I would be returning them!! Isn't the warranty on those 12 months?

i have the genuine mats (15 months old) And still
in great condition

My 18 month old, genuine i30 mats are still in great shape.
You must have a bad lot..........should be a warranty issue.

I'm thinking of taking them back, your all right you should get more than 6 months out of them.i feel that if i rock the boat about something i got for free from the dealer if i need a warranty claim down the track i may get messed around
-
2 years and look as good as new.

I'm sorry i didn't reply sooner,i only replaced it about a week ago.i missed sweetbix,s posting until this arvo. :-[I'm amazed the mats fall apart so easily.considering the set costs around $140 odd
