Title: mats falling apart at only 6 months
Post by: 2i30s on October 25, 2009, 10:09:26: my i30 embossed mats are allready falling apart.the drivers mat has a plastic heel pad in it that's coming un stitched.they look new still because i vacuum my car every 2 to 3 weeks.the mats i got thrown in by the dealer and are about $100 odd to replace. not impressed at all. :mad: anyone got the same problem :rolleyes:

Post by: Dazzler on October 25, 2009, 11:43:07: Yeah I bought mine for 60 bucks or so via ebay and that happened to mine too (I thought maybe they were 2nds that's why I got them cheap) I stuck the plastic heal pad on better with contact adhesive (it's fine now)

You must have a bad lot..........should be a warranty issue.

Post by: 2i30s on October 26, 2009, 10:31:46: I'm thinking of taking them back,your all right you should get more than 6 months out of them.i feel that if i rock the boat about something i got for free from the dealer if i need a warranty claim down the track i may get messed around :rolleyes:

Same problem..mine is coming unstitched because of my heels.. :rolleyes:

Steve did you end up taking them back?? My plastic heel pad has completely come off... :mad:

That was a good result (I bought mine on ebay so not quite so easy.. anyway I glued mine good as new now!)

I thought retail was about $110 (think I only paid about $65 through ebay?)
