Title: Faulty outside temp reading?
Post by: Pikapolonica on October 27, 2009, 22:49:25: I got in my car yesterday and noted that the outside temp reading was 12°C, when it was clearly well over 20° outside. This did not fix itself for at least 20 minutes.

Anyone else had this issue? I'm 5000km overdue for a service and will be booking one in for the coming weeks.

I've not had that temperature issue in Fergie. Where is the sensor I wonder? In a previous car it was in the drivers door mirror and the one before that it was in the front bumper.

Post by: reecho on December 29, 2009, 12:20:25: Me thinks there is a considerable amount of hysteresis designed into the readout. Mine does the same.....no concerns here...
