Title: i30 Blue Drive ISG
Post by: Lorian on November 07, 2009, 18:20:49
I found info on the Norway Hyundai site. They have been talking about blue drive for a year, during which time the goal of the blue drive scheme has changed at least once I believe.

Norway seem to be the only EU country that really publish such press releases.

It's strange that in the UK the introduction of ISG and reduction to 117g/Km Co2 is not really mentioned anywhere. Maybe they don't plan to release here yet. I'm guessing the offical 2010 model with the U2 Engine will automatically get ISG rather than there being extra blue drive models in the range, or it being a paid optional extra. But who knows, HMMC UK specs on the website are already falling behind.

Maybe the UK are waiting to announce the 2010 updates until after scrappage ends. I think I would if I was in charge.  :D

For those who do a lot of city stop start driving sounds like it will be the way to go.. Not so much for me in a a sparsely populated place like Tassie (Traffic jams - what are they  :D)
