Title: Looking to get Apple Carplay installed

Hi All.


I have an Australia i30 (mid-2015) with a GD-02 headunit. It has touch screen but no sat-nav.

I am looking to get Apple Carplay installed and have found a wreckers that have a GD-03 unit for sale.

A few questions....

• Can the Apple Carplay software be installed on a GD-02 unit? I cannot find a definite answer but from what I could find, it seems not.

• My GD-02 has reverse camera & steering controls. I assume there wouldn't be much difference in the GD-03 hardware so I could simply plug my out my GD-02 and plug in the GD-03.
• Finally, but not overly important, what is people's opinion on a fair price for a used GD-03?
