Title: Oil Pressure Lights

Hi All,
My first problem, I have two oil pressure lights on the dash, one just a plain oil can, the other the same but with  wave lines under the oil can this is one lit  showing bright red why are there two symbols? .I have checked the engine oil
level and its ok . Appreciate any help.

Can you take a picture? The only symbol with wavy lines and red is coolant temperature, I think.

User manual will tell you what those lights are.

Are you sure it isn't the symbol I highlighted below?

That would be your temperature warning, if so.

Sorry guys for the first post error,the symbol is not red but it is a  amber oil can with a wavy line underneath according to the manual which I just found says it is "engine oil level warning light  (1.6 Diesel Engine , if equipped)"

I have checked the engine oil level and it is at the correct  level so do think it could be a faulty sensor? will try to send a picture later.
