Title: Intermittent Wipers

Had wet trip to Canberra and back yesterday with varying amounts of rain.
I always thought the graduated scale indicates time between activation,
small white marker - short time between, heavy rain
big white marker  -  long time between, light rain

Ours is doing the opposite, 
small white marker - long time between, light rain
big white marker -   short time between, heavy rain.

My wife said she had noticed it was different,  but if the markers are for the amount of rain on windscreen, it makes perfect sense.

Anybody else's backwards ??

They could all be like that. I recall that whatever it shows isn't intuitive, so I end up trying each extreme of the scale every time.

Yes. My 2011 does the same.
