Hello all. I've recently purchased my i30 second hand but have noticed there is a pipe missing under the hood.
It's the bit I've circled in red below.

Would anyone kindly know what this part is named? I've tried google with all sorts,: engine pipe, filter, radiator pipe, air filter - no luck.
I've tried looking at owner manuals and engine diagrams but nothing seems to point it out as far as I can tell.
I am really coming short!

This will be what you're ordering.
282103X020, AIR DUCT, smart move would be to check the part number with a dealer. Maybe a car wrecker to get the part as it's one unit.
I'd think of this as the cold air intake

could turn out to be a pricey bit

Private purchase or car dealer?
Private purchase, was CAT D - but it had a service history from Hyundai and passed all MOTs so I figured it was worth the purchase!
Is the front portion still attached to the car?

Yes, it is just the curved bit and screws that are missing, here's a pic of it:

I recon you'd be right hitting a wreckers.

Thank you all for the help! Much appreciated :D!
I'll go asking around scrapyards and such for the part.
