Idle stop and go seems to be on offer first in the Czech republic, where it is being offered as an optional extra costing around £250 (GBP)
If I understand correctly it supposed to save around 0.4l/100km. This will of course be very variable depending on your type of driving.
I'll leave it to people more awake then me to work out how many miles (Km if you prefer) for it to pay for itself.

Guess that is 4 litres per 1000km saved (around A$5 per 1000kms over here) so I'll try to not get too excited ..
around 60,000 miles or 100,000 kms to recoup the extra cost (very roughly)
