A 65-year-old man has died in a collision on the M8 in Glasgow after he drove his Peugeot 206 in the wrong direction down the motorway.
Henry McGraith, from Bellshill, North Lanarkshire, died at the scene after colliding with a Hyundai I30 driven by a woman on the eastbound carriageway.

What a terrible tragedy.
This seems to happen from time to time. These people are confused some how by the many slip roads and just go the wrong way.

I was trying to make out the i30 in that carnage. If I find any more pics I'll post them

  :'(
I think it might be the one at the right in front of the fire tender.

I discounted that as the raised hatch doesn't look large enough

Definitely the one in front of the fire truck. If you brighten, blow the image up and sharpen it you can clearly see it's an i30

The 21 year old female driver of the i30 is reported to have pelvic injuries, but is stable.
The i30 safety systems obviously did their job. The peugeot 206 seems a very well built car too though, scoring 4 stars on euroncap.
