18x8.5 +45 offset. 215/45 tyres
Also managed to pick up a genuine painted body kit for $292!!

Wow! That body kit is a bargain. I would have thought 8.5 wide would be pushing it big time, but other members are better qualified to give you a definitive answer. Nice wheel design.

Yeah was really lucky with the body kit especially being in australia and i love the wheels. Just don't want to get them and turns out they don't fit!

I found this site with a quick google. The widest wheel I see here is 7 (but still wait to see what others say who have tried it)

Hi i30lamb,
I take it the stud pattern is correct .
Hopefully someone will be able to help, if not you gotta do it the hard way.
Is it lowered?
Not much outwards offset, so all the extra will be inboard.
You should use a tape to check , if looks good actually fit them.
From my youth experience,
1) fit the front first and check that you can go form lock to lock with steering.
2) Then go for drive, slowly at first - be prepared for any "bump steering", pick up the pace and find some bumpy stuff to see how it goes.
3) If it goes well put rears on and repeat.
4) Grab 3 or mates and repeat .
AGAIN BEWARE OF BUMP STEER OR REAR LOCKING with extra bodies in car.
The decision will be yours.
I stress Bump Steer.
I once had my front suspension so hard you couldn't move it if 2 people pushed down on it and I thought I had cured my HT Holden of that. (14 × 8 4" offset 235/60 ) Found out that, when on a long curve , in 60k area , doing 140k +, pacing a car alongside of me , that I hadn't.
Thankfully there was nothing in the on-coming lanes and I caught it before going up footpath and into the shops.

Best bet would be to call a tyre shop as they'll have the info at hand, I think you might be pushing it though :undecided:

Pic looks lowered, agree with craigb, you couldn't get under it to measure anyway.
What did they come off ?

Yeah ill just test fit them, would be the easiest and safest option. He lives 80km away but having 4l per 100km its worth it.

Just be aware tyres that wide will have a measurable effect on your fuel economy.. :cool: (but still think they will be too wide to fit anyway) :undecided:

Yeah i understand that, i went from 13-14l per 100km to 4l per 100km so its a big difference for me even if it gets worse with the bigger profile rims it wont be as bad
