I'm looking at trading my Ford next week at the local dealer for a new SX diesel. The main reason for the trade is to cut fuel costs so i'm confident that this is the right car for me.
The forum looks very well set up. Hope to share a heap of infomation with everyone.

I'm going to see if they are willing to throw a few extra things in with the trade. So heres hoping. I'll post and let everyone know how I go.

I not long ago took delivery of an SX (petrol) which the dealer had in his lot. it seems they've all got onto the idea of ordering their floor stock complete with the cruise package.
All the stock at Sunco Motors (Sunshine Coast) had cruise (and fog lights) already fitted. And at just $400 extra, how could you not take it.
Good luck with the trading in.
And if you want a second price , let me know and I'll refer you to the guy I dealt with at Sunco.(assuming you're close enough to the Sunny Coast). He was very helpful and easy to deal with.

I'm up in Townsville surferdude so it's a little way south. I'll PM you the sale price. Dealers must have seen it as a sort of Aussie selling point I suppose. It is handy, especially in this state. To easy to just set the cruise when your driving down the coast. Makes the trips a bit shorter I reckon. I plan to come down for summafieldayze and have a bit of time off on the Gold coast at the start of next year. Should log the trip for everyone. hmmm..... :question:

Ours arrived today. First frost (-4) expected tonight. On my bike (no i30 :rolleyes:) it felt freezing cycling into the wind this morning.
