Hi! Sorry to asq please! Maibe some of you did the same in your cars and can direct me on the right path.
In my 2013 I30 CW 1.6crdi highway heat, i have normal radio and no cruise control. I bought steering wheel buttons for cruise and phone.
I am thinking to buy an cheap ebay aftermarket navigation unit like this:
(click the link below)
:link: Octa Core Android 6.0 Car Stereo DVD GPS Player Sat Navi for Hyundai I30 11-14 | eBay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/232329048516?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT)
I don't know iff the steering wheel buttons for the phone will be operational.
Thank You!
Eugen

Soo...The unit arrived pretty quick. Came with DHL. I had to pay VAT and customs tax pretty much, but, ok.

Pretty happy with the result..
I didin't receive supports for the unit and i had to mod the original radio supports to fit.
Rear view camera is nice.
The external mic i have installed on top of the A pillar trim to be as close to the mouth as possible.
I had to mod the car's usb plug to be able to read an aux usb music stick.
Everithing works! The only thing wich really annoys me is that the illumination is not the same blue as the oem one. :(
Still need to get use with the unit.
I installed Torque app and is working with the bluetooth interface. Not soo manny live data parameters but i can read and erase engine fault codes.
Time will tell if this was a good investment or not.
I will let you know iff will end'up under an 20 kg hammer. :P
All the best!

I've been thinking about upgrading my unit as well, the factory unit is really quite a poor setup which has been driving me crazy since I bought it.
I don't mind the sound quality but user friendly it is not :disapp: this is the JVC unit I'm thinking about http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/JVC-KW-V820BT-Apple-CarPlay-Google-GPS-Hyundai-i30-GD-GD2-2012-Installation-Kit-/201778337632?epid=0&hash=item2efaed1760:g:L1UAAOSwA3dYcu-w (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/JVC-KW-V820BT-Apple-CarPlay-Google-GPS-Hyundai-i30-GD-GD2-2012-Installation-Kit-/201778337632?epid=0&hash=item2efaed1760:g:L1UAAOSwA3dYcu-w)
