Hi All
Wiggy is now up to about 46,000km (reminds me I must get the 45K service done :-[ ), and in the past few weeks I've noticed that she seems to be revving much more freely than she used to -it whips around to 3000-4000rpm very easily now! I have to take notice of my revving now!
Maybe I've just developed a lead foot all of a sudden, I dont know - has anybody else noticed this in theirs?
Thanks

36,000 miles on Fergie now and she's still sweet as a nut. First noticed a significant improvement around the 25,000 mile mark when she'd just had her 2nd service. Might have been a coincidence but she felt like a real loose woman after that :)

Mine's up to 33k and definitely feeling better, but the biggest improvement seems to be down low. I can now pull in 4th gear from around 1300 rpm. Still has its 'off' days tho - sometimes I go to overtake and it feels like I should jump out and push. Most times it goes great tho.

I have the same feeling. Sometimes it's a "sports car", but sometimes, it's kind of lazy.. Maybe humidity, air density, fuel quality, etc, has such a strong effect on the engine..

Hi Guys yes I'm up to 48,500 now and she goes great...but like others there is some variance day to day between good and great and assume this is to do with fuel quality and atmospheric conditions..she likes a bit of warm weather...

Our i30 is just ticked over 77 000 km and if it ain't run in by now it never will be.
Since running in is a slow process, I doubt if its a very noticable change. If you could drive a new i30 and then step into one that had done 30 000 + km, then I think it would be a better comparison.
