Alright guys,
One of my HID's are about to call it quits. Does anyone have a recommendation for replacement bulbs? Dunno if it matters but this is a factory installed HID system, not third party.
Cheers

Nice to hear from you! I can't help with you question though. :goodjob:
I like your rotating signature picture (my new SR would look good like that!)

I considered opting for something better such as LED when my standard halogens went recently but the SuperCheap replacements were just too easy and cheap to warrant the effort.

I don't know what the type bulb is for factory HID's but if you can find that out then an eBay search should be easy enough, Philips being usually the top market brand so would start there, I think I've seen them stocked at Supercheap also.

Once you work out what HID bulb is required as there are several types then hidreplacements Australia could be useful :link: HID Replacement Bulbs For All Makes & Models (http://hidreplacements.com.au/hid-bulbs.html)
Original bulb appears to be these for low beam

Thanks for the replies guys!! The bulb died tonight on the way home from the station. Surprisingly, I didn't realise till I got home and saw only one light spot on the garage wall. After consulting the manual the car takes a 35W D1S bulb which seems to be a fairly common socket type. The downside is the fitment of these things, from what I've seen it requires the front bumper to be removed to get access. Maybe I should just take it to the dealership and let them do it?

Think it can be done without removing bumper if you have smallish hands to get to the fitting.
Also, from what i recall from a post many moons ago, you can loosen the bumper and just pull it slightly away to give you enough room to get to the unit.
