Title: Folding door mirrors
Post by: sparki30 on December 12, 2009, 15:46:27
Does anyone know if the folding door mirriors on the UK Premium model can be programed to auto fold inwards when either the key is taken out of ignition or when car is locked with the remote ? And then of course the reverse to fold out.

Good question. Colleagues Merc folds them in when alarm engaged and unfolds on disarm.

Try calling your dealer.. their Hi-Scan Pro tool should list it as a customer option (if it exists). My guess is that it's a purely mechanical feature, not linked to anything like the BCM, but I'd be happy to have such a feature enabled if possible.

I'm suprised they don't do that as default behaviour?
