Hi I would like to install the steering wheel controls on my Hyundai i30 2008 1.4 Petrol, is it just a matter of installing the remote control in the steering or do I need to pass cables? I still have the OEM car stereo installed.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170814/f1a6e715d08d824716df57f9f3212f03.jpg)

Im guesing you have the Hyundai i30 FD model
And if you do not have the cruise control from the fabric you need to buy the unit..
I think mean you need to install controller unit .. See here , there should also be a installing diagram in the pictures:

Other than the controls I think you would also require the cable harness and clock spring.
