Hi from Athens,
since August '09 I am an owner of a 1.4 Classic with ~4.000 km on really bad road conditions here in Greece. Mixed impressions so far (due to the above mentioned), more to come...
Happy to be with you!

Hi babis_xo, welcome to the club.
I noticed you'd also joined the H-F guys, but they're nowhere near as friendly :D

Γεια σου – Babis - οδηγείτε στην Θεσσαλονίκη για να δρόμο Καβάλας - είναι πολύ καλό :D
(in reply to Babis' comment about the roads in Greece. The Thessaloniki to Kavala motorway is great)

Not in souvlaki? :P

My thoughts exactly Sweetbix............. but I think they are a bit odd in that part of the country
-
Thank you all,
glad to be with you! (translation: καλώς σας βρήκα! kalos sas vrika!)
"Shambles": I discovered this club from a post of yours at H-F guys. Thanks!
"bumbkin": lucky you, here we've had our first flurry of... rocks and we don't even have winter (see pics below)
"Dazz": unfortunately, mine is sometimes... screak and sometimes crack due to the many road bumps and holes (not worse than a Golf or Auris however....) That's why Hyundai offered only 3 yrs of guarantee for Greece till recently (August 2009)!
"sweetbix": souvlaki with curry? hmmm...
"angoraki": Hey, that's all Greek to me
By the way, the Egnatia road from Thessaloniki to Kavala officially released on Sept. 2009, yet it's still incomplete... Below you can see the major National Highway(!!!) of Greece (road from Athens to Thessaloniki, near Tembi):

Happened just yesterday... Now i should drive to Thessaloniki on a i30 WRC. Do you think i have a chance?
-
From those pics Babi - I wouldn't  No problem on the Thessaloniki to Kavala, the Egnatia road is fine. We were on it in June and again in October. It takes about 2 hours 40 minutes to Keramoti ferry with a stop at a kantina for a metrio Elleniko!

...and a souvlaki with curry perhaps. That is... let's see... plus 1 hour 20 minutes in a public WC
-
I think I better stop complaining about the roads in Sydney.. That's just terrible.
"sweetbix": souvlaki with curry? hmmm...
No no... I was referring to Shambles confusing Greek with Indian...

No mate, you're thinking of 2012 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1190080/)

No, i wasn't really thinking of anything. My thoughts are messed-up since i made that (http://www.moviedistrict.co.uk/2008/12/09/2010-the-year-we-make-contact-dvd-review/) contact... :D (but no one knows that... they just believe that i was on a long-time vacation)
