Last year the i30 petrol.
This year, the i30 Diesel.  :cool:

Just been reading a bit more of this.
The full page of test results is http://www.australiasbestcars.com.au/2009/2009_midsize_under.pdf
They've rated the petrol alongsied the diesel and the only place it falls down is in fuel consumption, so it loses 5 points.
Effectively the i30 petrol is #2 (by a long way) over the stated second placed VW and third placed Lancer.

That's gr8 still don't understand why Wheels doesn't rate the i30 more highly....

Yeah, I know where your coming from ... I've heard those claims before... :wink:
