You would think in this day and age where recycling is the done thing – that major retailers would get the message and be economical with packaging.
This parcel arrived today from Amazon containing a steel breaker bar for undoing stubborn car wheel nuts. The bar is 75 cm long and one end is 3 cm diameter. The box measured 80 x 50 x 15 cms and all that packing paper inside it did nothing – the bar was bouncing freely within the box.
This is not the worst example I have seen – it’s just the latest. I bet all readers can tell similar stories
I’m now left with the task of getting rid of the box and its stupid packing paper content.

I've ordered a new Teng Tools torque wrench to start replacing some of my conveniently lost tools my brother was supposed to return from the US with :disapp: I wonder if it'll come in a giant box like Alan's one did :undecided: and that's if it arrives at all.
Aus Post sent me a package collected email this morning and I noticed they've got the address wrong :head_knock: after calling Aus Post then Ebay and finally Industrial World to discover it's been wrongly addressed by Industrial World  they seem to be quick on rectifying the stuff up though and were very apologetic.

Those Teng Tools torquing trinket traders tactfully try to trap telecomputing trekkers to transfer two tenners towards temporary tenant territory typically tied to toxic trash trafficking.

I order quiet regularly snooker cue tips from America and they persist to charge me huge prices to send them......so what do they send something that is 10mm round and weighs a couple of grams, a A4 padded bag and charge me $29US for their troubles...... :crazy1:
EDIT>>>> I should clarify that the $29US was for the postage only and not the cue tips....
-
I think they recycle there, trash ( old box's they would normally throw out ) as you pay postage not them.
