It's just got the new sport kit on it. Sparki already posted pics, a few articles down.

You have to laugh at the way it says it has so much extra kit, but this is just because they took so much kit off the base (classic) model for the 2010 spec!

I don't like the rear tints - without the front windows being tinted too it will look daft, like it does on a Ford Focus Titanium.

If I remember reading correctly it has also been released as a model in Belgium called the "i30 Sport" but is only available with the 90bhp Diesel engine!

I didn't tie the two up as the alloys were so dissimilar. Can see it now though.

Fake pipes of course. probably will only sell the bumpers in the kit, but don't know for sure.

I think I have read somewhere (and I could well be wrong here) that the Nosovice factory is the only plant currently building the 6 speed boxes. They are (or will shortly) be building a new production hall there to increase production, maybe for export.

Saw one in the showroom today. It looked smart and had tinted rear windows

I don't mind the front but the trout mouth makes it look like a Ford Focus.

The black plastic on the rear is well, not so good, the designers should have taken a look at how it'd done on a Corsa VXR.

At least it looks better than the back of some of the latest Subaru models

This was the best pix I could find to illustrate my "problem" although some new models are worse than this...

The way they almost make a feature of the muffler (at least they could spray them black or something!)

i'm liking the front but i really don't like the back with all that 'black' part. i think it makes it look unfinished or something.

Don't forget when you have the registration plate fitted it will 'break' it up a bit

Sounds like we might be getting that model then sooner rather than later (surely they won't bring just one in....

If its the same as in the UK the 2.0CRDi was coupled to a previous model 6 speed gearbox, which now seems to be discontinued. There may be a new more powerfull 2.0/2.2Crdi released later in the year*, but I guess that depends on the ressession and sales.  This wouldn't be U series engine, it would be an R series

*I'm guessing

If they bring a 2.0 Crdi 6 speed or better still 2.2 R Diesel with 6 speed in over here I might go another i30 instead of the Sonata later this year or early next...
