Hi,
My Hyundai oil level light is on most of the time. I've checked oil level and it is good.
Any ideas where is the problem?
Thanks!

How old is the car?
Is it serviced/oil changed as per schedule?
Has correct oil been used?
Possible sensor issue?

Hi socas,
2013 model should still have warranty. Oil light on is never a good sign. If levels are ok then assume there is an oil pressure issue. I would be taking it to a dealer as soon as possible.
Does it appear to perform normally. If it still revs normally and isn't going into limp home mode then hopefully nothing too serious but still needs investigating! !

Any image available of what is displayed? Is this an Amber light for OIL LEVEL or Red for Oil Pressure?
If levels measure correctly and it's not the Red Oil Pressure lamp then guesses would be damaged harness to the sensor, faulty sensor.
Like Dazz suggests if it's under a warranty still get Hyundai to check it.

Yes it's amber oil level light.
Bad oil level sensor was my guess so now you made me to be even more sure about the source of this problem.
I will try to change it and I hope it's not some other problem in fuse box or wires.
Thanks!

Any updates on this as mine is now doing the same. Amber oil light on even though oil level is fine. Thanks

Hi Craig,
I'm sure that in my situation oil level sensor is damaged when the engine was laying on the ground in my garage but I didn't checked yet. Planning to change sensor during the next oil changing. :)
