Title: Philips Blue Vision - Any good
Post by: Myowni30 on January 10, 2010, 16:59:24
Has anybody tried these BlueVision headlight bulbs.

Suppose to give about 30% more light than standard bulbs and also give the HID type effect

Compared to HID those are very weak.

Best bulbs you can have from philips are the philips xtreme vision, but still... HID is better. You can see it on youtube!

I know the HID are a lot better, but they are not legal in the UK for aftermarket fitting

The osram nightbreakers in my high-beam are very good. If I was buying again I guess I'd go for them on the low beam too, instead of the philips extreme +80.

I'm going to tweak low beam just a little higher next time I have the bonnet open.
