Title: Updating Sat-Nav
Post by: Bubbacpt on February 18, 2018, 11:53:17
Not sure if this is the proper section so apologies in advance if it’s not.
I’ve just bought the new generation Mk3 i30 1.6 CRDi in Fiery Red, lovely to drive however I have noticed that my Sat Nav is outdated, is it free to update it and how do you do it? Thanks

The new generation i30's (PD) are given free updates for ten years here, hopefully the same for you :undecided: all provided via Hyundai service though they're usually a year behind Garmin or Tom Tom maps.

What is the date of your version?

Once you have the details why not ring hy uk and ask them what the latest version is.

They may refer you to the dealer but i would press them for a version.

If they indicate a later version then request update from dealer.

Thanks guys, I’ll try contacting the dealer and see what they say though I get the distinct feeling I’m on my own  :crazy1:
