Title: KIA Stinger
Post by: AlanHo on February 19, 2018, 14:05:46
I called into my local KIA dealer to book my Niro's first service today. Yesterdays long trip has taken the car up to 10,000 miles so it requires its first service. I took out the KIA service plan so it is already paid for.

Whilst there I had a browse at the 2018 range including the new Stinger which is a very impressive vehicle. It looks much better in the flesh than in the photos. The one in the showroom is a bright metallic red which suits it fine. Oh to be young and fit again.

Hey Lakes! The sales are excellent. I picked up a new home server and a 3 piece suit. Bargain prices. Thanks for asking

The salesman at the dealership did not expect he would sell many - KIA are predicting less than 2000 per year in the UK.

He added that the car was intended as eye candy in the showroom to show BMW, Mercedes and Audi that they have a genuine competitor. He reckoned that the nearest equivalent from any of those brands would cost at least £8,000 more to provide a car with as many features.

They are under orders to position the car in the showroom so that it is the first thing you see when you walk in.

Don't know where Toyota will position this one?
