I have2008 i30 fd and it looks like the 2010 model bumpers might fit has any one done this and if so is it just bumpers or is there more to it

I'm pretty sure it would be a straight swap. Look great, but would be a real issue with gutters and steep driveways and the like. :undecided:

I'd go to a wreckers with paper, pencil and a tape , measure and compare.
Even call a few panel shops to see if they have a dead gd one around the place.

I don't think you would have a height issue, you can see the car in the picture is radically lowered plus the bumper also has an extra lower lip attached.
The only extra you might require is a different foam impact bar, you'll possibly get away with it though and hopefully a straight swap :Good_luck:
