Title: FD01 bluetooth does not recognise iPhone 7
Post by: marty on February 27, 2018, 01:14:08
Hi Folks, I hope you can help me.  :crazy1:

The bluetooth does not recognise iPhone or Samsung.
The radio firmware / software is FD-01 Verson MCU:0.2q CPU:008 DFU:0.04.
I've researched and understand that I may need current software on a USB stick, and plug it into the car for it to update. Sounds easy, but I can't find the software update.
The Hyundai dealer mechanic just said come in and pay a diagnostic fee, with no suggestion that they can fix the problem.
Many thanks, marty  :winker:

I'd ring another dealer, they should be able to at least tell you what the latest software version for your model is though I doubt there would have been any updates being the age of the vehicle.

The Good Wife's 2011 FD does recognise the iphone 7, but it was purchased in December 2012 so may have received an update in the predelivery.

She cannot import her phone book or anything else, but she can make/receive calls and stream music. If I can remember how to check the firmwear I will have a look.
