Go on - how much?

Go on - how much?
500 US $
I dont know what the customs on auto parts are here, but I guess the final price should be around 7 - 800 $
-
I suspect that they will be perfect.

This is from an email I just dug up when I enquired about replacing the rear clusters
Replacing the standard filaments with LED clusters will invalidate any warranty on the electrical circuitry, should "such a replacement be proven to be the cause or effect of a malfunction"
So, be careful that you install them correctly, and that they contain the correct load-balancing resistors

You'll have to remind us of all these fine postings when month end nears....
-
They will be 8-)
Much brighter and prettier than stock lights.
I remember getting one of the first sets of LED tail lights for my first 350z - they looked sooooooooooooooo good compared to the dull old standard bulbs.
Just hope they're plug & play, so you don't have to do any wire cutting.
-
Thing is, as a driver, you rarely get to see how pretty they are

Received the lights today, the only thing that came with them was this relay, I have no idea where to put it.

The lights looks good, I haven't fitted them on the car yet.
Here's how much this costed me.
Lights: 499 US $
Shipping: 55 US $
Taxes+customs: 15000 ISK
Total: 60.000 ISK - 792 AUD - 376 UKP

ok, i fitted the lights and they work and look great, but the indicators blink to fast,
after a little digging i found out that the relay that came with the lights have to be fitted so the indicators will blink at a normal speed.
but the problem is that i have no idea where to put it, it does not fit in the fuse box nor in the driver side fuse box
so if anybody have any idea where this hazard relay is located i would appreciate it.
-
I'd start a new topic for the hazard relay question Hemmi, just to make sure as many people see your question as possible - unless you've already found it by now! Good luck - I'll do a search if I have time mate.
Do those relays tick when the hazards go on & off? If so, you might try to locate where the tick comes from!

I created a new thread.

Extremely happy!
Removing previous lights and fitting new ones: 10 minutes.
Removing previous relay and fitting new one: 2 days.

Very nice, we have them as standard on our Prius, when one fails the whole cluster fails, thank goodness for free extended warranties.
-
Nice one Hermann - great pics and a job well done. Sounds like you believe it was worth the expense

Wowwwwwww those are B E A U T I F U L - I WANT!!!!
...I bet they're much brighter than the standard bulbs.
ps - I may wait for a while until the price comes down a little, because I want to pay about £200 max for them.
-
Now, let's nip over to the other thread and see those pics of your relay location ;)
-
Cheers hemmi - good work
-
Notice that the rear fog lights are on, I did not turn them on, they're on automatically
Original the upper lights are only on.
I think it looks better with both on.
