Title: Dashcam mounting
Post by: BIGGUS on May 30, 2018, 11:21:53
Can I mount a DOD LS470W Dashcam behind the rear view mirror?

I mounted my DOD LS460W right there, no problem, using a sticky pad mount. The power feed comes through from an adaptor behind the map lights - nice and tidy.

Yep, best place to sit your cam is behind the mirror so that it's not in your field of vision and the mirror will also make seeing the cam more difficult from the outside giving the stealth effect :)
Just fitted my new one today :happydance:

I did precisely the same with Craig's hand-me-down. So tidy that you don't know it's there. From the outside, if you know it's there and know where to look, it appears integrated with the (reversing camera) rear view mirror.
