Meh. Teething problems. It's not like the autopilot accelerated over the speed limit and crashed into a roadside barrier killing the driver. That'd never happen, would it?

MMMMmmm, bring back horse drawn carraiges. Oh no, just a mo, people got killed when th'orse went boggert...
OK, we'll all have to go back to walking everywhere.
It has to come, there is no stopping it :crazy1: :crazy1: :crazy1:

I've tested similar scenarios with my autonomous cruise and it depends how early the other car switches lanes. Only the day before yesterday I had almost that exact scenario so I tested it with my foot poised above the brake. I was only probably doing 50 kph and the car in front switched lanes. I watched the cruise display and it picked up and started slowing the SR almost immediately. I would never take it as a given though.

Irrespective of my dislike for cruise, I think you have taken the correct approach. :goodjob2:
But, as the vid says, not a problem for people using auto pilot correctly........................... :crazy1:
As I watch the modern drivers asking our advice, I conclude many driver's have little driving experience, little intelligence or are impractical to the point of utter stupidity.
