Title: Transmission fluid level check 2013 petrol
Post by: guest11172 on September 10, 2018, 18:25:04
Hello all.Just join and this is my first post. I just bought a used 2013 1.6 active petrol automatic i30 car. Very pleased so far. One thing though. I went to check the transmission fluid level and cant see a dip stick anywhere. No reference to it in the hand book either. What am I missing here? Is it a sealed system or some thing? Any help most appreciated.  Bob  UK>

Hi Bob,

Sorry! Not sure why no responses to your question. As you have probably realised, this forum is fairly active and generally helpful and friendly.

Ok folks.. rally around.

What's the story with the auto trans. I don't think there is a dipstick? Just a bolt on the side you can undo to inspect drain and refill? Is that correct? :undecided:

That's what the book says :goodjob: sealed system so no inspection necessary...just replace fluid at specified interval.
