Hi Guys,
thought i would move my "introduce" post to here so i can add things as i go.
Basically i bought a i30 SR premium back in June.
Managed to get a cracking deal out at Orange so i went out one weekend and drove it back. It was a nice way to get familiar with the car.

Since getting it home i have done some light mods.
I had the exterior and interior detail and protection done through WSD. Ceremic coating on the exterior really cleaned up the paint and makes the white pop.
I also did the tint. Never had a car without tint so this was a must. Ended up going for 20% all round as a good compromise.

The intake was next for some more noise. Went with the Torcon intake with heat shield. Sounds quite good on the throttle.
Next up was some wheels and debadging. A mate works for ROH so i went for some RF1's in matte black. Works nicely with the Sunroof and white.

Future mods will be a rear swaybar and just paint the calipers. After coming from some heavily modified Fords (XR6t, XR5t and XR8) i promised the Mrs this would go down the same path....haha will see how we go

Beautiful car mate. Regardless of what Dazzzler said, I still think white I30 SR look the best :P Not that I am bias or anything

agree with the rest of the guys here, White is the nicest color for the i30! Wished i went for the white, but my significant other wanted a change as the previous car was white, and gone for black instead.

update:
Had my mirrors and rear roof section wrapped today.
Decided on matte black for the mirrors (to match the wheels and mirror surrount) and gloss black on the roof (to match the sunroof and spoiler).
Very happy with how it turned out

Great colour! White looks so good with the blacked out sunroof. What tire size are you running?

cheers mate. Just running the stock tyres for the moment (they only had 1000km on them so i might as well use them) so thats 225/40r18.
Will look at maybe going 235/40r18 but will have to suss that out when the time comes,

Wow I thought they were 235s! To me it looks like the wheels stick out of the Guards a little bit more so I thought you were actually running wider tires/wheels. Gives it a nice aggressive look, I reckon.
Also looking to get a wider set up like you since the stock setup has the wheels a little too tucked in for my liking. Cheers!
