Title: Merc issue for new owner - and self reflection
Post by: Blazorax on November 23, 2018, 23:07:29
Was reading a post on whirlpool on a new Merc owner who put out $300K to buy 2 brand new Merc, waited 10 months for delivery and then had it broke down and require towing after 5 days of ownership.

We all knows that could happen to any mechanical things, yet ouch, that hurt.  I feel for that person, yet found the whole story fascinating.

On a side note: Self reflection - What is it about these stories that we found interesting to read.  I never want those things happen to other people yet I cannot help but looking for more stories like that to read.

I have sin - arrggghhhh .. now where are all those beautiful "Ming Moles" - please come and punish me.

:)

Hi Thanh,

That is the sort of story that John (Auto Expert) thrives on. Our members get frustrated when their 30K new car has a hiccup, but waiting 10 months after spending that sort of money then having that happen would be.  :crazy1:

Just visit any VW or Ford forum, I'm sure you'll find plenty more.  :snigger:

I'll bet they think iam a terrible person as I also told the salesman I don't need a test drive because it would drive like every other front wheel drive shitbox !

Jeepers! I thought I could be brutally honest at times, but that beats me.  :D
