Title: New member in Adelaide
Post by: Brew69 on March 01, 2010, 06:41:43: G'day all, just ordered our i30 and we find out how long the wait will be tomorrow. Got an SLX 1.6TD manual in Continental Silver with a few goodies thrown in. Will post some pics when it arrives. I was blown away at how well the little 1.6 goes and the claimed economy figures which i hope are accurate. Stuart

I average about 5.5 here in hilly Tassie but our Diesel owners in flat old S.A. seem to regularly match and sometimes better that 4.7 figure.. Enjoy :D

I tried to get a silver to hurry the arrival, but that didn't happen. I settled for a boring white the same as my last two cars. Why? Only have to wash it once a month or even longer. Black = a wash a day :-)

For the record, I have been told my i30 crdi is due "end of March or beginning of April". I signed a contract for it at the end of January. It should be interesting to see if you get yours earlier than me Brew69.

Yes we could have driven a white one home. My last 7 cars have been white for the reason you state, however SWMBO told me white was not allowed this time lol. So the color choice was entirely hers............it does look good in the brochure.
