The difference is Volkswagen were installing software to fool testing devices, defrauding testing companies and the public was their stupidity  :disapp:

I feel we have done this before...

VW installed a program to enable it to pass the actual test that they needed to pass to get the car on the road.

The others can pass the actual test that they need to pass to get them on the road.
