Title: i30 PD 2017 "Head Unit" question
Post by: Mark70 on January 28, 2019, 12:39:22
Turning the car off, leaves the head-unit (NAV/RADIO/etc) switched on, until either the drivers door is opened, or you hold down the volume button for 3 seconds or so.
Had anyone found a way to make the Head Unit turn off at the same time as the car is turned off?
Is there a setting somewhere I have missed?

Those are the exact same conditions as in my Ioniq - I've found no way to disable this unwanted "feature"

Same in my SR. It will turn off after a few minutes (about 10?) if you do nothing at all.  :undecided:

The head unit will also "wake up" when you unlock the car as well..

I know my amps are connected to a Audio Control Lc2i that gets it's signal from the speaker cables.
So then the remote turn on for my amps. Turn on my amps..   Just from unlocking the car..
