Title: Is the rear doors on the estate the same as the hatch
Post by: Jamieliam1 on March 27, 2019, 19:30:35
Is the rear doors on the estate the same as the hatch as my dad has scraped all his rear passenger door and there is a black estate being broke for parts and was going to see if could just swap the doors over

The only stupid question is the one you don't ask.

To answer your question, I will be surprised if the Hatch and the estate rear doors are interchangeable.

I stand to be corrected though and will follow this thread with interest.

CW is longer with a taller roof so the answer is no.  The internal door trims for the front are the same and other things like locks, window mechanism.

I use to think the front doors were the same until Gary @nzenigma politely pointed out the obvious with the roof line making the fronts higher, rears are obviously longer as well.
