But when the seller stepped out of the car, the would-be buyer quickly hit the accelerator and vanished. The car was later found in a garage.
Police say the "historic vehicle" with 43,000km (27,000 miles) on the clock should be valued at more than €2m.

This is a relatively common trick played by thieves. Seller beware... and it can get tricky with insurance because technically you've given them permission to drive your car. A while back a guy in Australia had a similar scenario with a much cheaper car. Something like a Skyline or RX7 I think. Don't think he ever got it back. :disapp:
